This Saturday, rain or shine, marks a major milestone for us: the 10-year anniversary of Blue Toad Hard Cider! It’s a moment we are incredibly proud of, reflecting a decade of crafting delicious hard ciders using Nelson County Grown Apples. We invite everyone to join our Wassail Party to raise a glass to the community, the farm, and the fantastic ciders we’ve created together at our Virginia Hard Cider Taproom & Bar.
A Full Day of Festivities for Our Cider Family
We are kicking off the celebrations around 2 PM with a full lineup of fun, food, and music. We plan to be out in the Festival Field if the weather holds, but if not, the party shifts right inside our cozy Cider Hall! We will have over a dozen of our unique hard ciders available for you to taste, ensuring there is a perfect pour for everyone to enjoy as we celebrate this special anniversary.
Enjoy Bonfires, Hot Toadies, and BBQ Beast
No winter celebration is complete without some warmth and great food. We’ll be lighting up the bonfires (weather permitting) to keep things cozy, and of course, serving our famous Hot Toadies, the perfect spiced cider for a winter’s day. To satisfy your appetite, BBQ Beast will be on site, providing delicious fare to pair with your favorite Blue Toad pour at our Virginia Hard Cider Taproom & Bar.
Live Music to Mark the Special Occasion
What’s a party without great music? We are thrilled to feature two incredible acts to keep the atmosphere lively and festive. The afternoon will feature a performance by Koda & Friends, followed by the talented Alex Arbaugh. This live entertainment will be the perfect backdrop as we gather to celebrate a decade of hard work and great cider production from our home base in Nelson County.
